van to Mae Sai, the northern most point for shopping on Thai-Myanmar
border. Buffet lunch at Wang Thong Hotel. After that go
straight to Golden Triangle, Opium House at bent of the mighty
Maekhong River and see the scenery view of three countries (Thai,
Myanmar and Laos). Visit ancient city of Chiang Saen, where
ruins of numerous, temples, stupas, Buddha images are still to be seen
artifacts and archaeological finds exhibited at the National
Museum. Return to the hotel. |
