| Depart from the hotel by the air-con
van to the ancient city of Chiang Saen, where ruins of numerous
temples, stupas, Buddha images are till to be seen artifacts and
archaeological finds exhibited at the National Museum. Proceed
through Golden Triangle, Opium House at the mighty Maekhong River and
see the scenery view of three countries (Thai, Myanmar and
Laos). Continue the trip to the northern most point at Mae Sai
for lunch and for shopping at the Thai-Myanmar border. After
that go straight to Doi Mae Salong where you will visit the Chinese
village on the mountaintop and buy some of the local product for
example; (tea, coffee and fruit) for the gifts. Return to the
hotel. |
