| Doi Mae Salong - Doi Tung |
| Depart from the hotel by the air-con van to Doi Mae Salong where you will visit the Chinese village on the mountaintop and buy some of the local product for example ; tea, coffee and fruit for the gifts. Along the way stop at the Hot Spa and see the nature which offer the beautiful scenery. Usually in the cool season the Thai Cherry trees are in full bloom and you can touch the mountain mists here. Lunch at the local restaurant. Continue the trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border. Doi Tung, provides an opportunity to view enroute many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see from distance the Princess Mother's frigid flower Garden. Doi Tung temple, built in A.D.1493, is located at the peak. Its scenery reminds one of Switzerland, features many unique images and temple architecture over looking the entire northern rice field plain. Return to the hotel. |
