| Depart from the hotel to the pier and take the long-tail boat up to the Mae Kok river to the Karen village (50 minutes). Then ride the elephant for 30 minutes around the village and return the long-tail boat to Chiang Rai. Lunch at the restaurant beside the river. Continue the trip to Doi Mae Salong and buy some of the local product for example; tea, coffee and fruit for the gifts. Along the way make a stop at the Hot Spa and see the nature, which offer the beautiful scenery. Usually in the cool season the Thai Cherry trees are in full bloom and you can touch the mountain mists here. Return to the hotel |
